Traditional Permanent Attachment - to walls, floors or ceilings, wet or dry -

These tiles can be installed in the typical way by covering a surface, a part at a time, with thinset, applying a thin coat of thinset to the back of a tile and pressing the tile into place. Continue with other tiles and with other areas of the surface.

Removable Attachment - to walls -

If a tiles is to be mounted for decoration, "Picture Hanging Strips" such as those available from 3M, Hefty, FrogTape, Summerbrite or X-Protector can be attached to the back of the tile and to the corresponding place on the wall. Press the tile into place until the projections on the strips "click" into place with the projections of the mating strip. The manufacturers claim that they can hold 16 lbs per pair and I have found that they easily hold these tiles. The benefit of this attachment method is that the tile and strips can be removed without damaging the wall or paint on the wall.

Framed Single and Mural Attachment - to walls -

These framed items have either sawtooth hangers or wires attached to the backs of the frames. They can be hung on nails or picture hanging hooks that would be driven into the wall or stud behind the wallboard. For heavier framed murals, two nails might be used or hooks with drywall anchors.
